Swachh Bharat Mission aims to generate great

public participation, reinforce the concept of

'Sanitation as everyone's business' and

Mahatma Gandhi 150th birth year celebration

with a nationwide campaign.

Ncc cadets with help of nss, they were conducted to clean out college compound and outside too. They joined into different team and cleaned every place of college compounds and outside too. They cleaned the whole places the field, playground, backwards, gardens, back of college and roads to. They cleaned our society to flourish our place. 

It is important to clean your place. Because to prevent infections, dengue and maleria. Ever since Indian was freed from slavery Gandhi has conduct to clean India and make it Garbage free Country. This project was conducted by NCC MES KEVEEYAM College Valanchery  under the watch Lt. Najiya K V.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY

Yoga day was celebrated on June 21st organized by Department of Physical Education in association with IQAC,NSS&NCC . The program was conducted at the auditorium of MES Keveeyam college ,Valanchery . The program was inaugurated by the honorable principal of our college Dr. Vinod Kumar K P . There was a interesting class section based on Yoga and  yoga practices was done by the resource person Yoga trainer ,District Yoga Association Thrissur Rahul PR . It gives a clear idea about yoga . Yoga practices makes journey through the self . This program was done under the control of Prof. Dinil S .

 National Cadet Corps (NCC) has initiated a nationwide flagship campaign ‘Puneet Sagar Abhiyan’ to clean seashores/beaches and other waterbodies, including rivers and lakes of plastic & other waste material. The initial phase of the ‘Puneet Sagar Abhiyan 2022’ is being conducted in a grand manner between April 01-05, 2022. More than 1.5 lakh cadets from all 17 State Directorates of the NCC are participating in various activities, five of our cadets also participated in the Cyclothon from Tirur, Stadium to Calicut Beach.

Annual day celebration and break up social of this academic year was on 30/03/3022.Cadet Sneha welcomed the gathering .Dr.C Rajesh  inaugurated the function. Dr.Najila T Y(IQAC  coordinator),Dr.Santhosh Babu PC(Staff Secretary) facilitated the programme  A memento given to Hav.Manish K V as token of love and appreciation. Principal and other faculties distributed the trophies and medals to the cadets for their best performance in various competitions. Lt Najiya K V  (ANO) concluded the programme and highlighted the achievements an activities conducted during last year. Cadets performed various cultural programmes.

L/CPL Jishnudas, Third year cadet met with an accident on 19/March/2022 while coming back from Calicut after the C  practical examination, and admitted to Al Mas Hospital Kottakkal, Total bill amount for medical treatment was 96000,College management had given 30000 and total of 54942 collected from 29(K) Bn office and concerned institutions, the amount handed over to him on 16/04/2022

The 73rd  Republic Day of India was celebrated with gaiety and patriotic fervour at MES KEVEEYAM College Valanchery on 26th January, 2022. The ceremony took place in the presence of Dr C Rajesh (Principal),Lt.Najiya K V(ANO) Shajid PP and Dr.Preetha SR(NSS Programmme officers ) ,faculties , staff members and students.

The ceremony commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by Dr C Rajesh.. The programme moved forward with an incredible display of parade by the National Cadet Corps(NCC) cadets. 

Dr.C Rajesh addressed the gathering and conveyed the importance of conduction of social service activities by NCC cadets and NSS volunteers  .The hour long ceremony culminated with the distributiob of sweets .Online Quiz Competition  and Patriotic song competition also  conducted.

MES KEVEEYAm Collge observed  Armed Forces Flag Day on 07/12/2021,Principal Dr C Rajesh inaugurated the armed force flag day collection. Cadets collected welfare funds through distribution of flags from various departments of the college and public .

MES KEVEEYAM college NCC unit grabbed the first prize and SSM Polytechnic Tirur  got second position.Winners were honoured by District  Tourism Department , Malappuram

NCC  Enrollment for the 2021 conducted on 18/11/2021.Total 50 students from various departments participated in the selection process. Under the super vision of  Lt Najiya K V.The staff from 29 K Bn Thechipalam Nb/Sub Mahesh Chandra,CHM mineesh C A and Hav Deepak Singh selected 21 students based on physique and  the performance in physical  activities like Running,Push up and sit up

            Welcomed of NAAC PEER TEAM Assessors with NCC Guard of Honour on the occasion of III Cycle visit scheduled on 3 and 4 September 2021, and the cadets volunteered Exhibition, Cultural Programmes etc conducted during the  NAAC visit

            ‘Swachhtha Pakhwada’ cleaning campaign was conducted on 01/September/2021  by cleaning the college premises. The motto of the programme was “Say No to Plastic”.

Paying homage to one of Mahatma Gandhi’s  favourite tenets-‘Cleanliness is next to godliness‘, A mass cleaning drive was conducted by NCC unit of MES KEVEEYAM College on 03/10/2021 at PHC Valanchery.

The function was presided  by the principal Dr C. Rajesh and inaugurated by Dr.Fathima,medical Officer PHC Valanchery ,22 NCC cadets with ANO Lt. Najiya KV participated in the drive .The team cleaned total three blocks (each block more than 10000 sq.ft)of hospital and  the surroundings

As part of  ‘Beat Covid’ campaign in Association  with  Health Department of Kerala and Muslim Educational Society conducted mega vaccination drive for the public  from   21/Aug/2021 to  23/Aug/2021.College NCC unit actively participated ,helped for registration, controlling the crowd and for smooth conduct of the drive.

MES KEVEEYAM  College staff and students celebrated Independence Day with pride, joy and serenity. NCC cadets performed independence day parade under the supervision of U/O Thajudheen , after that   Principal of the College Dr C Rajesh hoisted the national flag and addressed the crowd. NCC cadets, NSS volunteers, teachers and non teaching staff of the college saluted the national flag and honoured the memories of the martyrs who achieved us the freedom. Online Quiz Competition  and Patriotic song competition also  conducted,cash prizes distributed to the winners

Kargil Victory Day was celebrated on July 26. Lt. Najiya KV take an orientation class about the importance of the day .

On International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking(June 26),All cadet participated in an online Webinar on the topic Youth and Drug Addiction organized by NSS Unit and Swasthi Anti Narcotic Cell of the collage ,The session inaugurated  by Mr.Rishiraj Singh IPS,DGP Prisons

International Yoga Day was celebrated on June 21 by practicing different yoga poses by the cadet and made a short video of the same

The main idea behind celebrating World Environment Day was to highlight the importance of the environment and to remind the cadets that nature should not be taken for granted. As a part of national level social activities conducting by NCC ,NCC Calicut group ,29 Kerala Battalion and MES KEVEEYAM college Valanchery jointly distributed mask and sanitizers.The meterials were distributed to public health care centres such as as PHC Sub centre and Ayush PHC homeopathy Kottaram Valanchery.

As part of  Swachbharath programme, cadets cleaned  the campus frequently with the joint efforts of cadets ,teachers and students the campus became Green and Plastic Free
 

2019 Flood-NCC Cadets helped at Flood Relief Camps at AMLPS Kottaram,Valanchery and Thavanur,Kuttippuram
